Phew.. The holidays are finally over and life is getting back to normal. The new LLC project is moving along - I've received half the funding and am setting up the bank account this afternoon. Just found out that if this goes well, there are some other investors who would be interested. Good deal!

Congratulations, Shaun. Is this new venture a step up from your last one?
Thanks. It's not so much a step up as it is a step in a different direction. Previously, I focused on getting properties to rent. This new venture will be focused on getting properties to flip. But, since there are some other investors interested in how this turns out, it could end up being a step up!
Shaun,
I love reading your blog, but it's the only blog I get online to read - the rest I get through my newsreader. Have you turned on your Atom feed? It would be great to get your blog updated in my newsreader and treo, instead of trying to remember to check in here.
The Blogger instructions for how to do it are here: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=698&topic=36
Thanks, and keep it up! You're very motivational and inspiring.
Melanie
Thanks for the kind words! I've had the Atom feed here turned on for quite some time. The URL is http://shaunsre.blogspot.com/atom.xml. I know it's working because I subscribe to it :-)
Oh, and I don't really promote the Atom feed option (you'll notice there is no button for it on the site) because it helps me a bit when people clickthrough the ads shown here and with an Atom feed, you don't get that. But, the option is there if someone really wants it. I aim to please :-)
Shaun,
Just stumbled across your site... I am doing the Real Estate thing as well, and the site is what I was looking for. I am working on a renovation for the first home I bought, and wanting to get into rental properties afterward. I will be following your blog and seeing what you are up to , and will probably ask questions if it is not a bother...

Thanks for the kinds words, Jason! Feel free to ask questions. It's not a bother. In fact, if you ask a bunch, I may even make an entry out of them, as I did here: http://shaunsre.blogspot.com/2004/09/readers-questions.html.
